Explore More Illinois makes it possible for member libraries to offer free passes, discounted admission, and other deals from a wide variety of Illinois cultural attractions to library cardholders. Cardholders will reserve all passes/discounts online. Click here for more information or to take advantage of this service.
The library has a limited number of passes to the Knox-Galesburg Symphony available for checkout. Please contact the Reference Desk for details.
Reference Desk staff offer free notary service most hours the library is open. Stop by with your signed photo ID and any document(s) needing to be signed. Some documents cannot be notarized at the library. Please consult the Notary Policy.
Faxing and Scanning Services
Faxing and scanning services are available at the library for a fee. Call the Reference Desk for with any questions.
Need to bake a fun cake for a special event? The library has a collection of themed cake pans available for checkout. Contact the Children’s Room for more information.
Would you like to take an ereader on vacation but aren’t quite ready to purchase one? Check out one of our Kindles, preloaded with a variety of good books.
Electricity Usage Monitor
Ask at the Check-Out Desk about the Kill a Watt, an easy to use meter that calculates electric usage and cost of household appliances to help you understand and reduce your energy bill
