Through the online catalog, you can review your account, renew materials, and put your name on wait lists by placing holds. You will need to know your library card number and your personal identification number (PIN). If you don't know your PIN or have forgotten it, please bring your library card to the Reference Desk. If you have an email address on file already, you can also click on the "Forgot Your Pin?" link. In the meantime, you can call the Reference Desk at 343-6118 or email library staff at reference@galesburglibrary.org to renew your books or place items on hold.
You can also request items from other libraries by placing holds. Please note that not all holds can be filled. An item in the catalog may be missing or overdue. If you do not receive an item within a couple of weeks of placing the hold, please contact the Reference Desk for an update. (We may be able to find it elsewhere in Illinois.) Thank you for your patience.
