A meeting room is available at the library for educational, civic, cultural and public information meetings. The library meeting room may not be used for the purpose of fundraising or any commercial business purposes. Permission to use the meeting room in no way implies endorsement of the goals or activities of any organization using the room.
The use of the meeting room is governed by the library’s Meeting Room Policy. Please take the time to read this short policy before reserving a meeting room.
Sanderson Room, Second Floor

Please call beforehand to see if the room is available for the day and time you are considering. Then, a meeting room reservation form must be completed and returned to the Check-Out Desk at the library. Completed reservation forms may be faxed to the library at 309-343-4877. All paperwork must be completed within 24 hours of a meeting room reservation or the reservation will be cancelled and the room made available to others. No reservation is complete without confirmation from the library. The room will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. The room may not be reserved more than four months in advance.
The library’s meeting room is heavily used. Please check with library staff (309-343-6118) before sending in a reservation. Please note that some days are reserved for library programming, including most Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Groups are required to be out of the library meeting room at least 15 minutes before the library closes. For evening meetings, the meeting room must be vacated by 7:45 pm. For meetings on Friday and Saturday, the meeting room must be vacated by 4:45 pm.
