FREE PROGRAM: Community Conversation about the Covid-19 Vaccine
Join us for a judgment-free, pressure-free community conversation about the Covid-19 vaccine. Medical professionals from the Knox County Health Department and OSF Medical Center will attend to answer questions, address concerns, and administer vaccinations.
Vaccinations will be available onsite. The Moderna vaccine will be available for ages 18+. The Pfizer vaccine will be available for ages 12+. A parent or guardian must accompany children to the event, and parental consent must be given before minors receive the vaccine. Second doses of the vaccine will be offered at the library on October 25, 5:30-7:30.
CommunityGlo will provide a FREE meal for attendees and our Children’s Department will provide kids’ activities for ages 3+.
To reserve a meal, call (309)343-6118 *6 or email email@example.com by September 20. Drop-ins will be welcome to the discussion, but meals are limited to those who reserve a plate. *Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
To join the conversation over Zoom, call or email the library and we will provide a link.
The session is funded by the Association of Science-Technology Centers’ Communities for Immunity program and is supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Institute of Museum and Library Services.
