Illinois Road Scholar Karen Anderson will present More Than a Color: The Marginalization of African Beauty Through History, taking participants on a walk-through of history and telling the stories of women who have helped redefine beauty. Anderson is an artist, writer, photographer, publisher, and filmmaker. Presented in partnership with the NAACP Galesburg and through the Illinois Humanities Road Scholars Speakers Bureau. Free.
