Share Your Life Story: A Writing Workshop

Everyone has a unique and individual story to tell. Start writing yours with a little help.

This is a seven session workshop where the group will be able to share and exchange ideas. No prior writing skills are needed to join the group. The emphasis of the workshop is on telling your life story.

At the end of the seven weeks, you will:

• recognize the many benefits of self-reflective writing.
• write on a variety of different topics.
• have the basic skills needed to begin the process of writing your own story and the motivation to put those skills to use.

We will meet every Monday from 10:00-11:00 AM beginning February 27 (excluding March 13) until April 17.

Advance registration is required. Contact the Reference Desk at 309-343-6118 #6 to sign up. Registration ends February 23. Attendance for the entire course is required. The workshop is limited to 20 participants.
