With the launch of our new Galesburg Public Library website, we’re getting a little more personal. We’ve added a blog where we’ll be sharing updates, reviews, stories, and all sorts of other information with you!
Starting tomorrow, you’ll find new content to enjoy every weekday. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, be on the lookout for a review on books, movies, music, or other items we check out at GPL. On Tuesdays, you’ll find a list of new titles we’ve gotten in the last month in our Adult, Teen, Children’s or audiovisual areas. Every Thursday, tune in for a column from one of our staff; it might be an update on what’s happening with our new building from our director, a little history information from our archivist, some fun activities or stories from our children’s room, or some recommendations from different members of our staff.
But the blog isn’t just for us — we welcome guest posts as well! If you are interested in writing a review, give us a shout at reference@galesburglibrary.org and we’ll tell you what to do.
