The sinking of the Eastland on July 24, 1915 is not as well-known as the sinking of the Titanic, but it is just as tragic. 844 people lost their lives, including 22 entire families. Earl Gallas, who had relatives on the Eastland, will present an entertaining and informative program on the Eastland disaster. Free.

Summer Reading has officially begun and will run through July 29. This year's theme is Reading by Design. Kids, teens, and adults can register now.
