Alliance Digital Media Library

Over 100 area libraries in central Illinois participate in the Alliance Digital Media Library, a contracted service with OverDrive, Inc. The app is Libby. New titles are added regularly. The service includes titles purchased by the group of libraries and thousands of titles in the public domain. To check out items, you will need a valid Galesburg Public Library card, a computer or device, an Internet connection, and the Libby app available through the Apple Store or Google Play. (A list of compatible devices can be found here.) At the end of the lending period, titles will automatically expire and are returned to the collection. There is a checkout limit. The ADML contains both ebooks and audiobooks. If there are additional titles you would like to see in the digital collection, you can tag them through the Libby app. You can also email us at reference@galesburglibrary.org. (If you are not a Galesburg Public Library patron, please note that your home library must be a participating library in order for you to download purchased titles. If your library does not participate, please speak to your library staff about joining ADML.)

Download the Libby app or visit https://alliance.lib.overdrive.com for more information and to start checking out titles.
