Tome Raiders Book Club – Neverwhere
SEPTEMBER’S SELECTION: Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
Richard Mayhew is an unassuming young man living in London, with a dull job and a demanding fiancée. Then he stumbles across a girl bleeding on the sidewalk. He stops to help her – and the life he knows vanishes like smoke. He has fallen through the cracks of reality and has landed somewhere different, somewhere that is Neverwhere.
The discussion will take place at Hardee’s on Main Street in Galesburg. Copies of the book can be checked out at the library. You will order and pay for your own food and drink.
(Please note – occasionally Hardee’s closes their lobby unexpectedly. In that case, we will meet at Subway a few doors down.)
