Outside the Library — April 2022

According to Merriam-Webster, spring (noun) is defined as a time or season of growth or development.  Spring admittedly is not my favorite season (any other fall lovers out there?); however, I do find myself going outside as much as I can. One of my favorite things to do during this time of year is watching for the first blooms of the season. Whether it is tulips starting to sprout up or trees starting to bud, I am here for it.  In anticipation of the first blooms of the season, I am sharing some of my favorite flower photos with you.

Outside the Library — February 2022

If you have visited the library’s website and have seen pictures of the library, you will have noticed a side hobby of mine… photography.  Whenever I get the chance, I like to be out in nature taking pictures. Below are a few pictures that I have taken in my backyard, at Lake Storey, and other botanical gardens that I have visited.  All of the pictures have been taken with my smartphone and some using Moment lens and app. I hope you enjoy! — Hillary, Children’s Librarian
