The Technical Services Department acquires, catalogs and processes library materials including books, dvds and even toys and puzzles. This process involves 1) providing a record in the library’s online catalog so the item can be searched and identified and 2) creating a call number and label so the item can be physically shelved in an organized manner for easy access.
